My name is Maritza but I prefer to be called Maya.
 

I am 45 years old, I am Peruvian and I have not returned to my country in 15 years. I've lived in London for 10 years. I have been married for 21 years to a Spaniard (Cordobés) who is my unconditional support in everything and we have two daughters aged 18 and 16 who are my entire life. 

I lived in Spain for 12 years and I carry it in my heart. I have another four-legged daughter, her name is Chelsea and she is my sewing partner. I started sewing when we moved to London, it started as a hobby and then it became L'atelier de Maya, this allowed me to spend more time with my daughters. It's the best experience I've ever had. Sewing has allowed me to meet many people, make many friends and learn how capable I am of making so many things with my own hands. 

Sometimes I stop because my mind needs it, that is not bad, quite the opposite, you have to know when to stop to be able to continue. You can see here everything I do, I like to experiment by doing different things it depends on my mood, but above all I like to have everything in order that gives me peace of mind.
